Ballico, Calif., March 29, 2004 - Hilltop Ranch, Inc., a California almond processor and exporter, has appointed Paul Ewing as Director of Sales. Ewing is a Davis, California native and graduate of Cal Poly (San Luis Obispo) with a degree in Agribusiness / International Marketing. Recently he worked as an independent broker of dried fruit and tree nuts, and served an internship with Ryan-Parreira Almond Company in Los Banos, California. While a student, he studied abroad for one year at Universidad Andres Bello in Santiago, Chile, and worked at a cocoa processing plant in Valencia, Spain. He also worked for a rice processor and marketer in Davis, California. Ewing's responsibilities at Hilltop Ranch include development of new markets, and strengthening trade relations.
